The Pattern That's Been Holding You Back

I'm so glad you're here today and reading this right now, because I truly believe that this is a word in season. The 'letting go' concept is a simple but powerful idea that can be applied in just about any setting you can think of - and I've been doing it myself since chatting with Ben - and it is actually making a big difference!

Hey my friends! I'm so glad you're here today and reading this right now, because I truly believe that this is a word in season. The 'letting go' concept is a simple but powerful idea that can be applied in just about any setting you can think of - and I've been doing it myself since chatting with Ben - and it is actually making a big difference!

Now, I'll admit, when I first heard the concept I thought that it was all about finding the easy way - which if you know me, if kind of the opposite of what I preach - right?

I'm all about growth mindset, and seeking to improve, and setting goals, and working hard to achieve them, of living your own hero's story! 👊 - and so 'letting go' - to me, at first, just sounded like the 'refusing the call' - the natural first response of anyone when they encounter resistance... and I thought, this isn't for me - but then 2 things made me reconsider...

1) I respect Ben a lot. I've known Ben and his family for many, many years, and I've always recognised in Ben a kindred spirit - an overthinker perhaps - like myself 😊 - a high intrapersonal intelligence which I'm sure (like me and you) has been both a blessing and a curse - right?

And 2) it was also the timing. I've mentioned in recent episodes, how through my Soul Care journey, I've recognised a destructive sub-conscious pattern - that work, succeeding, and high performance have all been (incorrectly) linked to my perception of VALUE - that is, I believed the lie, that if I work hard, do well and succeed, then I have value (sound familiar?)

And so I was curious to learn more - and I thought, why not share this process of discovery along with my friends and community ❤️
